Cortical Perceptual Processing Mapped into an Active Resistor Network

چکیده

Recently an isotropic resistive network that performs a Gaussian ltering of an image for pre-processing tasks in image analysis has been proposed. In this paper, starting from biological considerations on cortical organization, we propose an anisotropic resistive network able to extract local features of an image, that can be used to detect variations of texture and to perform higher level visual tasks.
